Brooke Pike Norton

Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Brooke was born in Americus, GA to Lou Ann Smith Pike and the late Thomas Pierce Pike. She lives in Oglethorpe, GA, and graduated from Schley County High School in 2021. Brooke graduated from Ogeechee Technical College in 2024 with her degree in Funeral Service Education . She married Gabe Norton on October 5, 2024.

David Nelson

Funeral Assistant

David Nelson was born in Montezuma, GA to late Wylie Fredrick Nelson and Jane Welch Nelson. He is married to Sarah Barfield Nelson of Oglethorpe, GA and they live in Montezuma, GA. They have two children, Lori Nelson Kite and Scott Walton Nelson. They have five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. David joined the funeral home staff in August of 2017.

Gabe is a 2020 graduate of Schley County High School in Ellaville, GA. Gabe is attending South Georgia Technical College in Americus, GA for welding. Gabe married Brooke Pike Norton on October 5,
2024.

Keith Kitchens

Funeral Service Associate

Keith Kitchens has been assisting the Watson-Mathews team with funerals for over 15 years. He is retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation after 34 years of service, as well as the Ideal Fire Department after 25 years. He is a member of the Countyline Baptist Church where he has served as a Deacon. Keith has been married to his wife Sharon for more that 40 years.
