Wilma Hurdle Williams

Wilma Miller Hurdle Williams, age 83, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Cedar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Montezuma, Ga. Pastor Damon Fountain will be officiating the service.

Wilma was born on March 21, 1943, to the late John Manuel Miller and Josephine Yaghn Miller. She was a devoted woman of faith, having been a longtime member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church and currently attending Cathedral of Christ in Macon, Georgia. Wilma enjoyed singing in the church choir, spending cherished time with her family, and serving others in her community. In her free time, she volunteered with Crisp County Hospital Hospice, where she also served as a candy striper.

Survivors include her two children, Terry Hurdle of Fort Valley, Georgia, and Greg Hurdle (Janice) of Gainesville, Florida; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and three siblings, Barbara Parsons, Sandra Bullock and Janice Ledford. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hurdle; daughter, Paula Worthington; and her parents John and Josephine Miller.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crisp County Hospital Hospice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia.
