William Francis Blanks Jr.

William Francis Blanks Jr., age 73, of Montezuma, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

A graveside service will be held at Bertha-Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 11 AM.

William was born on June 20, 1952, to the late William Francis Blanks Sr. and Louise Searcy Blanks. He went on to have a career in law enforcement.

Mr. Blanks enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and working in his yard.

Survivors include his two sons, William "Bill" Frances Blanks Ill and Brandon Blanks; four grandchildren, Noah Blanks, Jordan Blanks Mankins, Cameron Blanks, and Kennedy Blanks; four great-grandchildren, Harper Blanks, Jolan Mankins, Judson Mankins, and Jillian Mankins; along with numerous extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Louise Blanks.
