William Bill Jones

PERRY, GA - William C. "Bill" Jones, 56, of Perry, GA passed away Saturday morning, January 4, 2014 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA.

Per his wishes he will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Bill was born on December 16, 1957 in Montezuma, GA to Marie Kenney Lawrence and the late James Daniel Jones. He worked for 18 years as a pest control technician with National Exterminating Company in Warner Robins, GA. He was of the Methodist faith and loved fishing and hunting in his spare time.

Survivors include his mother, Marie Kenney Lawrence of Perry, GA; two children, Amber Watts and her husband Patrick of Forsyth, GA, William Levon Jones and his wife Brandy Leigh Jones of Macon, GA; sister, Debbie Scarborough of Perry, GA; two brothers, Dan Jones and his wife Misty of Drayton, GA and John Calvin Jones of Columbus, GA; five grandchildren, Jeremy Watts, Austin Watts, Ciera Watts, Rainey Jones and William Colton Jones; aunts and uncles, Johnny Jones and his wife Betty of Montezuma, GA, Betty Jean Avera and her husband Joel of Augusta, GA, Jim Kenney and his wife Janice of Jekyll Island, GA; five nieces and nephews also survive.
