Family will receive friends Thursday , April 4, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home and will leave the funeral home at 1:45 PM in procession to the cemetery.
Mr. Gilmore was born July 29, 1943 in Durham, North Carolina to the late Leon and Edith Savage Gilmore. He was a graduate of Macon County High School and was employed by Champion Homes as a manager and worked for Weyerhaeuser for 23 years.
Mr. Gilmore's survivors include his two sons, Chris Gilmore of Ellaville, Ga and Richard Scott Gilmore of Altanta, Ga; a daughter, Tammy Gilmore of Atlanta, Ga; and a grandchild, Arlin Gilmore of Newnan, Ga.
