Troy Robbins, 88, of Worth County, GA passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A graveside funeral service will held Friday, September 11, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Bertha Dozier Memorial Cemetery in Montezuma, GA. Royce Powell will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 10, at Mathews Funeral Home, Albany, GA. from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm.

Mr. Robbins was born on September 19, 1937 in Worth County, GA to William and Iva Bee Robbins in Macon County, GA. He grew up in Montezuma, GA and graduated from Montezuma High School in 1955. Mr. Robbins was an excellent auto and body mechanic and moved to Albany, GA in 1966 and spent his entire career with Haley Motor Company, becoming Pritchett Ford and a short time with Ford Town. As an adult, he was Baptized at Pine Bluff Baptist Church. He moved to Worth County, GA in 1975 and his only hobby was dirt track racing. Along with his sons, they raced all over the South in car number 11. He was preceded in death by an infant child, his sibling, Royce, Luther and Morris Robbins and a sister, Aletta Albritton. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Lovett Robbins of Worth County, GA, two sons, Lynn (Shawn) Robbins of Worth County, GA and Todd (Leslie) Robbins of Smiths Station, AL, a sister, Juanita Hatcher of Cumming, GA, his grandchildren, Tyler Robbins of Albany, GA, Hunter (Ashley) and Summer (Jake) Carroll all of Smiths Station, AL, step-grandchildren, Shyanne Lawson, Caleb Lovett, Chris Taylor, Chad Lovett and April Dowdy, Savanna Cameron and Addie Cameron of Albany, GA and three great-grandchildren. Those desiring may make memorials in memory of Mr. Robbins, to Tunnel of Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
