Richard Michael Gibson

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Still Water Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Still Water Chapel with Rev. Roy Peterson officiating.Burial will follow at the Still Water Chapel Cemetery in Ideal, Georgia.
Mr. Gibson was born May 20, 1955 in Jesup, Georgia to Jim and Josephine Gibson.He was employed as a welder.He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife, Connie Rodgers Gibson of Andersonville, Georgia; parents, Jim and Josephine Gibson of Hortense, Georgia; two sons, Richard Shane Gibson of Hoboken, Georgia and Colter Shaye Gibson (Brandy) of Ideal, Georgia; one brother, Butch Gibson (Wilma) of Hortense, Georgia and three grandchildren, Sierra, Skylar and Ezra Gibson along with several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gibson is preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Hyres.
Flowers will be accepted.
