She was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina on August 5, 1958 to Gloria Ann Nichols Curry and the late Thomas E. Bannister. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren. During her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and knitting.She was a member of Oglethorpe Seventh-day Adventist Church and was employed by Walmart as an Accounts Receivable Clerk.
A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Oglethorpe, Georgia and Pastor Edward Bryan will officiate. Burial will follow in Oglethorpe Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Ronald Paul Lagasse of Montezuma, Georgia; her mother, Gloria Ann Nichols Curry of Montezuma, Georgia; six children: Tracy Vis (Damon) Livermore, Maine, Cody Tribble of Lewiston, Maine, Tony Paul Lagasse (Stephanie) of Alto, Maine Corey James Peebles (Lally) of Marietta, Georgia and Amy Christina Lagasse of Oakwood, Georgia, two brothers; Thomas E. Bannister, Jr. of Ridgecrest, California and Richard Thomas Bannister of Seattle, Washington; a sister, Kathy Mayo (Roddy) of Jonesboro, Georgia.Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren: Katie Alewine, Sheena Russell, Autumn Tribble, Jasiah Tribble, Isaiah Tribble, Levi Tribble, Devon P. Lagasse, Kaylee Lagasse, Peyton Mallory, Mikaela Mallory, Liam Smith, Adelyn P. Peebles, Abegail Peebles, Madison Peebles, Kate Peebles and Levi Tribble along with a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
Flowers will be accepted.
