Raymond “Big Hall” Hall, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026.

A Memorial will be held Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Whitewater Baptist Church

Raymond was born on December 1, 1947, to the late Claude and Helen Hall. He was a member of Whitewater Baptist Church in Oglethorpe, GA. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and fisherman. He served in the Army National Guard. He worked alongside his brother Larry, Hall Construction, in the home construction business for many years and later worked in maintenance jobs with Textron and with Collin’s and Aikman, Andersonville National Cemetery, and eventually retiring from Macon County Public Works.

Big Hall was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Helen Hall, his brother Larry, and his first wife Tish Hall.

He is survived by former spouse Patricia Hall; two stepsons, Raymond Hood (Rebecca) and Cham Hood (Andrea); four grandchildren, Shelley Hood (Carson), Richard Hood (Courtney), Jeremiah Hood, and Joshua Hood. Nephews Bill Hall (Sarah); Troy Durrance and Lance Durrance, and a Host of other Nieces, Nephews, extended family, and his faithful dog Chessie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia.
