Mrs. Jones was born June 13, 1941 in Macon County, GA, to the late Ernest C. Kelley and Leilus Hutchens Kelley. She served as City Clerk of Ideal for over twenty years. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, M.L. Jones of Ideal, GA, two daughters: Diane (Greg) Busbee of Oglethorpe, GA, and Marcia (Michael) Ledtke of Simpsonville, SC; four grandchildren: Kelly (Ashley) Jones of Oglethorpe, GA, Kristi Hawkins of Augusta, GA, Stephen Hawkins and Matthew Hawkins of Simpsonville, SC; and three great-grandchildren: Chaz Jones, Jonna Jones, and Jacob Griffin, all of Oglethorpe, GA.
