She was born in Japan on June 12, 1926. She was employed by Kellwood Company for over 30 years and a member of First Baptist Church in Marshallville, Georgia.
Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Marshallville City Cemetery with Rev. Randy Davis officiating.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.
Survivors include one sister-in-law,Della Ruth McKenzie Bailey of Knoxville, TN; five nieces: Megumi Mori, Michiho Nisizawa, Hiromi Takeuchi, Susan Bailey, Lynn Klett (James); two nephews: Yasuhiro Niwa, Mark Bailey (Elaine) along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Monroe Slade McKenzie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Marshallville, 307 E. Main St., Marshallville, Georgia31057, in memory of Mrs. Kiyome McKenzie.
