John S. Grecco

April 2, 1932 — January 13, 2019

BYRON, GA - Mr. John S. Grecco, age 85, of Byron, Georgia, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at his residence.

John was born in Woburn, Massachusetts on April 2, 1932 to the late Stephen Grecco and Frances Grecco. He graduated in 1950 from Woburn High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1953 until 1955. He later attended and graduated from Northeastern University in 1967.During his career, he served as Vice President of Tanners National Bank from 1954 to 1974 and Vice President of Commonwealth Mortgage Co from 1977 until 1991.He was also co-owner of Tommy Tucker's Guest House located in Byron, Georgia.

Survivors include his closest friend; Tommy Tucker, cousins, Joanne Fisher, Susan Reed and Frances Stern. Also surviving is his godchild and many other cousins and relations.

His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes will be interred in the spring at Andersonville National Cemetery.
