Jason was born August 26, 1974 in Montezuma, GA to Bobby McKinney and Martha Lockerman McKinney. Jason loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing the guitar, and singing.
Jason is survived by his wife, Erin McGlamery McKinney of Montezuma, GA; his children: Maya McKinney and Landon McKinney, both of Montezuma, GA; his parents, Bobby and Martha McKinney of Montezuma, GA, and his sister, Jana (Damon) Lokey of Montezuma, GA. Also surviving are his close cousins, Wade (Kacey) Dixon of Garden Valley, GA, and Kim (Jacob) Duckworth of Montezuma, GA; and a local aunt and uncle, Cheryl (David) Dixon of Montezuma, GA. He also leaves behind a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with many friends.
