Gary Willis

George Gary David Willis, age 73, of Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday April 7. 2026.

Per his wishes, no service will take place.

Mr. Gary was born on October 14, 1952 to the late Georgia David Willis and Agnes Irene Willis. He was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, listening to country and gospel music, and working on cars.

Mr. Willis is survived by his wife, Martha Willis; two children; Cynthia Elswick, and Gary James Willis; sister, Clare Cauley; brother, Theron Willis (Wynette); and special friend, Ann Dempsey. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Agnes Willis; siblings, Gary Willis, Gerald Willis, Mearian Willis Goodwin, and Delilah Willis Braynt.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia.
