MONTEZUMA, GA - Mrs. Fannie E. Miller, age 82, passed away on August 8, 2017 at her home in Montezuma, Georgia.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Clearview Mennonite Fellowship Church from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 Clearview Mennonite Fellowship Church with Pastor Noah Yoder and Pastor Raymond Yoder officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery in Montezuma, Georgia.
Mrs. Miller was born on June 16, 1935 to Eli Herschberger and Katie Bontrager Herschberger. She was a member of Clearview Mennonite Church.Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, and quilting. She pierced many quilt tops that she donated to her church's sewing circle.
She is survived by her children: Merle Dean Miller (Thelma) of Montezuma, Georgia, Ivan Dale Miller of Abbeville, Georgia, William Jay "Bill" Miller ( Alisha) of Holland Michigan, Oren Lee Miller (Joy) of Millersburg, Indiana and Orval Duane Miller (Carol) of Bristol, Indiana, Louella Kay Yoder (Raymond) of Falkville, Alabama and Brandy Dawn Smith (Brandon) of Sturgis Michigan; two brothers: Henry Hershberger (Susie ) of Lagrange, Indiana and Daniel Herschberger (Orpha) of Wakarusha Indiana, and one sister, Esther Borntrager (Elmer) of Middlebury, Indiana.Mrs. Miller is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband, Chris Miller and her sister, Lavina Gingerich (Elmer).
