Era Mae Youngblood

Mrs. Era Mae Youngblood, age 93 passed away on August 2, 2026 at Pinewood Retirement Villa in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Graveside services were held at 10am on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Swearingen Cemetery in Byromville, Georgia with Rev. Reed Benson officiating.

Mrs. Youngblood was born in Montezuma, Georgia on July 21, 1933 to the late Wilmont and Macie Peaster. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Youngblood; son-in-law, Frank Thompson; daughter-in-law, Vickie Youngblood; grandchild, Daniel Thompson and siblings, Nell Payne, Lorene Payne, Junior Peaster and Tommy Peaster.

She is survived by her children, Sue Thompson, Billy Youngblood and Edward B. (Rhonda) Youngblood; She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sharon (Clint) Powell, Matthew Youngblood and several nieces and nephews.
