Eloise Jones Mygrant

Mrs. Eloise Jones Mygrant, 98 of Oglethorpe, Ga passed away September 22, 2026 at the Oaks Nursing Home in Marshallville, Ga. There will be a private family graveside funeral at Bertha Dozier Memorial Cemetery in Montezuma, Ga on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 2pm.

Mrs. Mygrant was born April 9, 1928 to the late Ernest Jones and Mattie Lou Hudson Jones of Oglethorpe, Ga. She was married to the late Marvin Mygrant of Oglethorpe, Ga. She worked many years at Jones Grocery and Market with her brother William Jones in Montezuma, Ga. She was a member of Whitewater Baptist Church in Oglethorpe, Ga.

She is survived by her daughter Gail Mygrant Kelley of Oglethorpe and two sons, Ray Mygrant (Linda) of Winder, Ga and Ronald Mygrant (Cheryl) of Oglethorpe, Ga. She has 6 Grandchildren, 6 Great grands and one Great-Great Grandson.

She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin Mygrant, parents Ernest & Mattie Lou Jones, Brothers  William, Rufus, James, W.C. and Jesse Jones and a Granddaughter Robin.
