ANDERSONVILLE, GA - Charles David Cagle, 60, Andersonville, GA passed away October 14, 2012 at home from cancer.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens in Oglethorpe, GA.
Serving as pallbearers are Fred Law, Charles Detamore, Steve Johnson, Billy Johnson, Jimmy Watson amd Henry Kleckley. Bonded Brothers of Bluegrass are serving as honorary pallbearers.
Mr. Cagle was born August 25, 1952 in Jacksonville Florida.He retired from the City of Montezuma in 2010.He also worked at Jameson Inn, Mulcoa, and Southern Frozen Foods.Charles was a member of the Bonded Brothers of Bluegrass organization to promote bluegrass music.He avidly restored and worked on many creative projects.Charles also enjoyed motorcycle riding and nature.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bronze M. Cagle and step-father, Donald Wood.
Mr. Cagle's survivors include his (wife) Diane Cagle of Andersonville, GA; (son and daughter-in-law)Jason and Ali Cagle of Jacksonville, FL; (brother and sister-in-law) Robert and Tina Cagle of Plymouth, WI; (sister and brother-in-law) Patty and Rick Harvey of McClenny FL; (mother)Margie Wood of Oglethorpe, GA and two grand-children, Bronze and Phoebe Cagle.He is also survived by several nieces and nephews:Angie and Kevin Gallagher; Jennifer Hilland and Christi and Chris Henschel.
