Chadwick Albritton

Mr. Chadwick “Chad” Albritton, age 47, of Ideal, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia.

A funeral service will be held at Little Bethel Baptist Church in Ideal, Georgia on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 3 PM. Pastor Scotty Jones will be officiating the service.

Chad was born on November 19, 1975 in Americus, Georgia. Chad liked fishing, tinkering with things, and putting them back together and adored his nieces. Chad liked playing poker and spending time with his friends. Chad was very adventurous but overall, a simple person. Chad would do anything for anyone and was known for having a big heart for his friends and family. Chad was a former employee of at Hyundai in Montgomery, Alabama for a number of years.

Chad is survived by his mother, Deborah K. Gilmore of Oglethorpe, Georgia; father, Tommy R. Albritton of Ideal Georgia; sister, Brandy M. Albritton of Ideal, Georgia; step-mother, Margie Albritton of Ideal, GA; grandmother, Betty Godrey of Vienna, GA; two nieces, Peyton Wurtz, Taylor Wurtz and several cousins and lots of friends.

Chad was preceded in death by his, paternal grandparents, Felton Albritton and Leila Mae Cromer Albritton; and his maternal grandfather, Wallace Godfrey.
