Visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM, Monday, January 7, 2013 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA. At other times the family will be at the residence, 664 Head Road in Andersonville, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Stillwater Chapel, 3550 Highway 240 West in Ideal, GA. Reverends Roy and Jennie Peterson will officiate the service. Burial will immediately follow in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma, GA.
She was born on March 28, 1948 in Morganfield, Kentucky to the late Robert Cecil Price and Geraldine Evans Price.She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tommie Price and Carl Douglas Price. She was a homemaker, member of Stillwater Chapel and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving companion, Raymond Weaver of Andersonville, GA; 3 children, Samantha Griffin and her husband Gene of Oglethorpe, GA, Linda Diane Cromer and her husband Tim of Andersonville, GA, Jimmy Hines and his wife Jessica of Ellaville, GA; sister, Linda Carol Lashley and her husband Burt of Andersonville, GA; brother, Corkey Price and his wife Linda Gail of Andersonville, GA; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren also survive.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home of Montezuma, GA is in charge of funeral arrangements.
