Mrs. Greene was born March 20, 1914 in Macon County, GA to the late Tully Bridger and Vera Peters Bridger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.J. Greene; and two sisters: Agnes (Lester) Brady and Mildred (Redmond) Jernigan.
Mrs. Greene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlene (Ted) Collins of Bonaire, GA; a granddaughter and her husband, Wendy (George) Chadwell of Bonaire, GA; and a great-granddaughter, Weslynn Chadwell. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Whitewater Baptist Church, 1955 State Route 128, Oglethorpe, GA 31068.
