OGLETHORPE, GA - Annie Maude Cromer, age 84, of Oglethorpe, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Oaks Nursing Home in Marshallville, Georgia.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Whitewater Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Hall and Rev. Larry Felker officiating.Family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Cromer was born on March 19, 1933 in Bibb County to the late Sidney Lawson Bostick, Sr. and Mattie Maude Cannon Bostick. She was a very faithful and devoted member of Whitewater Baptist Church.She was employed at Manhattan Shirt Factory for many years as a seamstress.Along with her love for sewing, she also enjoyed fishing, gardening and dancing.
Survivors include one sister, Brenda Taylor (Flavil) of Gordon, Georgia, one niece, Gloria Kelley (Robert) of Oglethorpe, Georgia and a brother-in-law, Larry Cromer (Angela) of Vienna, Georgia along with a host of other nieces and nephews.Mrs. Cromer was preceded in death by her loving husband, James "June Bug" Cromer of 67 years, her parents, Sidney and Mattie Bostick, two brothers, Sidney Bostick, Richard Bostick and four sisters: Doris Felker, Claire Dupree, Jean Self and Joyce Bostick.
