A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2019at Mt. Zion - St. Luke Lutheran Church in Oglethorpe, Georgia.Pastor Barb Koch will officiate. Family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.
He was born February 08, 1948 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Alvin O'Neil Raburn Sr., and Sara CoogleGilmore.He was a retired self-employed farmer and a member of Mt. Zion - St. Luke Lutheran Church.
His memory will forever be treasured by his son, Neal Raburn (Casey) of Marietta, Georgia; a grandson, Luke Raburn; a sister, Nancy McCarty (Mack) of Oglethorpe, Georgia; three nieces: Laura McCarty (Michael Goldsman) of New York, N.Y., Lee Leathers (Ben) of Milton, Georgia, Lezlee Roach (Dan) of Americus, Georgia. Also surviving is a host of cousins, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Mt. Zion - St. Luke Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 187, Oglethorpe, Georgia 31068.
