OGLETHORPE, GA - Mrs. Alice Lucille Clark Hall, age 73, of Oglethorpe, Georgia went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 21, 2020.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.Visitation will be held at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home on Thursday 24, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. (Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing practices will be in place and, if you're attending the funeral home, face masks should be worn.) Mrs. Alice was born on August 30, 1947 in Alto, Georgia, daughter of the late Lawrence Clark and late Edith Bray Clark.
She was a shining light to her community, always happiest when serving others, whether by baking and decorating cakes for many occasions, keeping children in her home for many years, or just being a loving presence and friend to everyone she met.She also enjoyed working in her yard; growing flowers and tending to her goldfish pond.
She was well-loved by all who knew her. She was hard-working, loyal, and kind. She faithfully served New Life Baptist Church and her beloved church family, for decades.
Survivors include her adoring husband, Richard "Rick" Hall, Sr., of 55 years. She fiercely loved and dedicated her life to her three children and their spouses; Virginia Schneider (Larry) of Bonaire, Georgia, Richard Hall, Jr. (Audra) of Oglethorpe, and Ami Godfrey (Brian) of Macon, Georgia. She is also survived by a brother, Freddie Clark (Judy), a sister, Elizabeth Harris, (A. E.) of Oglethorpe, Georgia; two grandchildren: Jessica Chastain (Jimmy) and Christopher Hall (Amy); five great-grandkids: Elizabeth Chastain, Katie Chastain, David Chastain, Joanna Chastain, Addalynn Chastain and a host of grandkitties and one grandpuppy along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers: James L "Jiggs" Clark and Frankie Clark, and one great-grandchild, Brooklynn Hall.
