Mrs. Alice was born on August 30, 1947 in Alto, Georgia, daughter of the late Lawrence Clark and late Edith Bray Clark. She was a shining light to her community, always happiest when serving others, whether by baking and decorating cakes for many occasions, keeping children in her home for many years, or just being a loving presence and friend to everyone she met. She faithfully served New Life Baptist Church and her beloved church family, for decades. Survivors include her adoring husband, Richard “Rick” Hall, Sr., of 55 years. She fiercely loved and dedicated her life to her three children and their spouses; Virginia Schneider (Larry) of Bonaire, Georgia, Richard Hall, Jr. (Audra) of Oglethorpe, and Ami Godfrey (Brian) of Macon, Georgia. She is also survived by a brother, Freddie Clark (Judy), a sister, Elizabeth Harris, (A. E.) of Oglethorpe, Georgia; two grandchildren: Jessica Chastain (Jimmy) and Christopher Hall (Amy); five great-grandkids: Elizabeth Chastain, Katie Chastain, David Chastain, Joanna Chastain, Addalynn Chastain and a host of grandkitties and one grandpuppy along with numerous nieces and nephews.
